| I am standing upon the seashore. A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength. I stand and watch her until at length she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other.
Then someone at my side says: "There, she is gone!"
"Gone where?"
Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast and hull and spar as she was when she left my side and she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port.
Her diminished size is in me, not in her. And just at the moment when someone at my side says: "There, she is gone!" there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices ready to take up the glad shout: "Here she comes!"
And that is dying.

it is sad to see a member of Class of 2007 to go. I don't know him well. Just a few hi-bye here and there. Megan, the president, sent flowers in memory of him from us. This is one of many reasons why I love my class. We are that close. It doesn't matter whether or not you know that person well.When it comes down to being a 2007er, it is simply this --> 'you have my back. I have yours.' That's all that matters.

| i seriously can't believe there is NO SNOW!!!! The Myers (my aunt's family) were supposed to go on a skiing trip this weekend, but forget it!
NO SNOW! NO SNOW! NO SNOW! i'm pretty emotional about this. just utterly can't believe it! No white christmas!
As I told Megs, I think that in time, human beings will disappear from the earth just as the dinosaurs did years years years ago. The cause: heat!!! from the global warming. it will make a huge impact on the earth in next few years if we don't do something about it NOW!
Earth, as time, goes through changes. The dinosaurs died of cold as the glacier age emerged into the era. EXTREME. when the change hits Earth again, humans will die of heat as the new "heat" age emerges into the era. EXTREME.
think hard. so hard that your brain hurts. extremes live on this solar system.
come to think of it, when you make mother nature angry, boy she can take you out *snaps fingers* just this fast. EXTREME.
death comes and takes people away. even if they are dying, you'll never be fully prepared when they are gone. you'll still be surprised and you think, wow. i can't believe he's gone. It doesn't matter if the time is up as the fate likes to deal the cards, you always will be surprised. EXTREME.
when your heart breaks, it is goddamn painful. far much more painful than a slice of lemon squeezing over a paper cut. EXTREME.
you achieve something you long for. you'll feel the euphoria. EXTREME.
